Personal Statement

Lacrosse has been the thing I love most in life as long as I could remember. I started playing as soon as I could hold a stick and have not srtopped since. I have 3 siblings that all play lacrosse. I have played multiple sports throughout my life and have used those experiences to get better at lacrosse. I also love to fish and golf. I decided to move from Pennsylvania to Connecticut to Persue a better education and a more completive lacrosse experience. . Prep Lacrosse: “Colton Bergey is the kind of player every offensive coordinator wants running the show. Operating as the quarterback at X, he controls possessions with a high-level IQ and a calm, confident decision-making presence. Bergey creates efficiently from behind the cage, using elite vision to hunt skip lanes and deliver high-difficulty feeds with precision. As a finisher, he is as reliable as they come, his inside handles are exceptional, and he's never afraid to take an extra step to improve his angle, even if it means absorbing contact. He plays with a fearlessness around the crease that consistently puts pressure on defenses. In the ride, Bergey is relentless, using his effort, physicality, and tenacity to generate second-chance opportunities for the offense”
